Sleep Cycle Calculator
Wake up feeling refreshed by aligning your alarm with the end of a sleep cycle. Each full cycle lasts about 90 minutes on average and moves through lighter sleep, deep sleep, and REM. Waking during deep sleep tends to feel worse than waking between cycles, even when total hours are similar.
Use From bedtime when you know when you will get into bed—the tool adds a fall-asleep delay, then lists ideal alarm times after 4–7 complete cycles. Use From wake time when your alarm is fixed; it works backward to suggest when to be in bed. Adjust fall-asleep minutes and cycle length if you know your body runs faster or slower cycles.
Times use your device clock. “Next” bedtime or wake time is chosen automatically if that clock time has already passed today.
